The Highland Drama Club is up and running for the first time in years! We have plans for many performances, and we are working hard to maintain the program.
Our club is student led and coordinated which allows students to really let their creativity thrive. We are so excited to see where this program goes and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
The National Thespian Society is the only honors society in the nation that recognizes students in all aspects of preforming arts. Highland is working towards a functioning Thespian Chapter for the first time in around seven years. We are focused on bringing the arts into our campus and recognizes the creativity in students.
Donna Worley - President

The national requirements for thespian induction are as simple as a 10 thespian point minimum. Our chapter requires an addition of participation in at least one show every year and participation in the Wezzer tag game.
We meet Thursdays at lunch in room F206. Officers have additional meetings on Tuesdays.
Speak with Drama program teacher Renato Estacio in F206.
To be a part of the musicals, you must be enrolled in Musical Theater, or drama, or commit to after school rehearsal.
Courses: Musical Theater, Drama I, Drama II, Stage Craft (sets, managing, costumes, lights, and sounds)
Renato Estacio is currently the theater teacher and club co-sponsor. Their email is: Renato.Estacio@aps.edu
